Brass Artillery Shell Floral Fluted Vase Trench Art. This casing is from a 40mm weapon used in WWII. Marked 1943 on the bottom of casing along with 40mm V. Beautiful work done on this shell. Floral design with some nice detailed background work around the top. Fluted vase, some imperfections around the top, possibly from the firing of ammunition. Beautiful piece with a few minor dings here and there.
