Antique Elton Spanish Castanets- Bakelite Molded Musical Instruments

Really neat old set of antique castanets. Elton Spanish Castanets. Has original box. These are neat early molded plastic castanets made with bakelite. "Made of a durable composition moulded under hundreds of pounds of pressure" Also made for "more snap and brilliancy of tone" Castanets in good vintage shape. One has a string issue at end, looks like braided together or one string cut short. Doesn't affect castanets. A chip noticed as pictured as well as a small scratch on one as shown. Box has some wear and discolor as shown.
